Discourse, behavior and management strategies in the circular economy

In order to achieve a successful circular transition, it is important to estimate, and if possible predict, the interaction between behavior and behavioral changes on the one hand and policy and policy changes on the other. That is why three important pillars exist in this cluster. First, we want to gain systematic insight into the current state of affairs regarding the use of circular strategies and the beliefs and visions of citizens, organizations, and companies. Second, we look for the underlying drivers of stakeholders to estimate and predict the effect of policy interventions. Third, we want to rank possible interventions on the basis of different performance criteria in order to arrive at well-founded policy advice.
