Learning effects

Circular economy is a relatively new phenomenon – who starts to explore it, will anyhow have many lessons to learn. This learning-by-doing, by usage or by scale growth, is essential because this can not only decrease costs but also influence environmental impacts. If we want to more correctly inform policy officers and technology developers on the economic and environmental opportunities of circular economy innovations, we have to develop indicators that bring such learning effects into account.
