25. Overview of existing targets for the circular economy in Flanders

The transition to the circular economy (CE) is a long-term policy priority in Flanders. To steer this transition, targets are needed. Currently, there are no targets that officially have such status in Flanders. This report provides an overview of existing targets as a starting point for conducting a dialogue in Flanders on the specific setting of CE targets. The overview focuses on the one hand on overarching strategic targets in use or under consideration at the level of countries and regions within Europe and on the other hand on operational and more thematic targets that can be found in Flemish policy texts
